Administrator’s Message

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:

As we begin a new school year, I would like to take this opportunity to give you a warm Buchanan County Career Technology & Higher Learning Center welcome. In years past our theme for the Buchanan County Career and Technology Center has been "This is the place to be". Since this will be our last year in this building, the theme will be "Make the Last the Best."

We want to honor all of the Council Cobras, Garden Green Dragons, Hurley Rebels, Grundy Golden Wave, Twin Valley Panthers and Whitewood Indians who have walked these halls. In that regard, each student will receive a commentative t-shirt that will be designed to do this. 

Each month, we will do something special for our students such as ice cream sundaes, pizza, etc.  

One thing will remain the same at the Technology and Higher Learning Center, we are committed to providing all students with a quality education and preparing them for the future. It is my hope that each student’s time here will be both enjoyable and productive. Again, welcome back and lets truly Make the Last Year, the Best Year.
